Heads or Tails.

The world is a beautiful place, there’s a lot of great things that can be found here but at the same time, the world is a horrible place where many terrible things can be found.

You see, there are two sides to seeing the world just as how there’s two sides on a coin; heads and tails. When you flip a coin, you already know what value each side possesses and what it means to you.

When you look at the world you can see two sides of it all the time but whichever side you focus more attention on will surely have an affect on your being and how you see everything.

Feel Love, not “Loved”.

Like any person who has feelings, I want to feel Love.

No, I didn’t say feel “Loved” (past tense), I want to feel LOVE. I want to recieve it, I want to share it and I want to embrace it from this moment onwards.  But before I can have it, I must give it.

Little by little I give it out to anyone, strangers and all in all the different ways that I can. Whether it be a smile, a “how’s your day going?” or just a nice conversation. No judgement, no distance, just Love for another human being.

Sure, I know not everyone will accept it but that’s fine because I did what I wanted. I presented the Love to them as a gift, it was up to them in the end if they want to receive it or not.

If their choice was no, then that’s fine, we weren’t on the same page but I know that there are people who also want to feel Love and I will run into them along my way….. unless they run into me first.

Give Love and Feel Love.

It’s all words and empty promises.

I’ve adopted the idea of not having a New Years resolution. It’s not because I don’t have things I want to improve about myself or there aren’t things that I want to do; it’s just that when the clock strikes 12, I’m still going to be the same person I was at 11:59pm only I’m a minute older.

Saying your new year’s resolution is going to be ______________, is great but only if you can follow through with it.

Think back to last year at what your resolution(s) was/were; did you actually follow through with them?

Did you do what you said you were going to do?

If you did, then great, you are among the few who actually did what they said they would while the rest of us didn’t. Come to think of it, I don’t even remember what my resolution was last year….. Kind of sad isn’t it?

You see, most of us just tell ourselves what we want to do or are going to do just to follow the trend of New Year’s Resolutions. We come up with something, say it to ourselves and that’s it, we tell ourselves rather than do it ourselves.

So why even bother to say it? Why waste your breath and lie to yourself?

Because unless you do something about your new years resolutions, they ain’t going to happen and what you said at midnight is just words and empty promises.
