The Question of Truth and Lies
What is truth and what are lies?
How do we know something to be true and something to be false?
Do we gauge what we find as truths as things that we believe in or things that the majority believes in?
Is there a such thing as ”Truth” or is it all just a perspective?

The Greatest Game of All

There are so many religions in our world, each with their own deities, codes and beliefs. However at the same time, a lot of religions have many things in common which led me to wonder (with some help) about what if all the deities/gods were playing a game together and we were the pawns and pieces? What if the reason why there are so many religions, aside from different cultures and what not, is due to this game that they are playing. A game that is a contest of sorts where it ends when “everything” ends.
What I mean by ”everything” is the dimension that we are in, whereas the gods/deities keep a close eye from the safety of their dimension. Since, when “everything” ends, we can assume armageddon has arrived.
As such it serves as the deadline for this game that they play where it’s main goal is to see how many worshippers each can obtain before armageddon arrives. Also, they are not allowed to directly appear before their potential followers to influence them aside from certain exceptions.
If this were the case and this was the main reason why we are here in this world, then wouldn’t this be the meaning of life? Perhaps but if it truly is, then maybe that’s why it was kept a secret since being alive because you are needed to help win a contest does not sound like the greatest purpose to live for, hence maybe that’s why we have so many other thoughts as to what is the meaning of life since if this one is true, then it surely is a boring reason to be alive.
But then again, I lay no claims as to whether or not this is the meaning of life or if the gods actually play this game; it’s just a thought that crossed my mind and I wanted to share.
High Standards? Or Just Blind?
I remember sitting in the cafeteria several months back with some friends and we people watched during our lunch break. While sitting in the busy area of the University, it’s almost a challenge not to notice the hundreds of people flying back and forth through the building even if you are having an engaging conversation; however in our conversation two of my friends wound up bringing up the idea that there aren’t too many attractive girls in our university.
I thought this was weird as I looked at them both and said “Are you serious? I see a lot of attractive women around”.
They both then looked around and said “Where? I don’t see any”.
And it made me think that perhaps either they’re not really looking at the women or their standards are too high. When I look around me and everywhere else, I’m just surprised at how many women there are and how many of them actually are quite attractive. Now, I’m not saying that my standards are extremely low, it’s just I don’t have a mold that the girl HAS to fit into. Sure there are qualities that I look for but as for her appearance and yes I do have a few choices and combinations that are attractive to me but I don’t limit myself to just one specific race or a specific appearance. I leave myself open to what comes my way while having some general guidelines to follow.
It’s great to have your preferences though, don’t get me wrong, you are entitled to going for what you want and perhaps its true that they actually didn’t see any girls that met their preferences. However, there is a fine line between what you do like and what you NEED to have in a person.
The Art of Eating Corn.

The corncobs that were eaten by Me and my cousin’s wife are on the left. His is the furthest on the right.
Who do you think has mastered the Art of Eating Corn?
We’re different but that’s why we’re the same.
We are all different in our own way. We may be of the same race, same culture and same nationality but how we perceive our world and how we shape our reality is different. We may hold the same values but not share the same experiences, we are different but yet we are the same with our “differences”.
As such, there are two ways to view this, two different ways to perceive the world’s state of equality (among many). The world can be seen as being unequal because we all have our perceptions of reality that are “different” from everyone else. However, the world can also be seen as being equal through how not one person views the world or reality the same way as the next.
Therefore, the world is not as clean cut nor Black and White as we’d like to think but rather it is a shade of grey where what we perceive is the only way to decide if we fall into one side or the other or if we stay right on the fence.
Perception
Every person, due to how they’ve been brought up and how they’ve lived their lives would have had their own perceptions of the world and on everything else that lies within it. However, these perceptions which allow a person to see the world is not always accepted nor shared by other people. Yet that does not mean that what they perceive is wrong and nor does it mean that what other people perceive is right.

Lets not care anymore.
Everybody is afraid of rejection to a certain extent and we can take it personally when faced with it. Yet, imagine being part of the small number of people who actually really don’t care anymore if they get rejected by anything or anyone, How would you feel? Free? Happy? Powerful?
The issue of “Fake” Tumblrs.
You know, I am happy when people show that they “Like” my posts but lately I’ve begun to wonder whether or not they are actual people who have read them or if they were just fake…. so in a way it’s taken away the novelty of actually getting a “Like”.
See, we’ve seen fake accounts on many different sites and now that Tumblr is pretty popular, I guess it’s finally inevitable.
There are porn tumblrs, scam tumblrs etc. which all add up to fake tumblrs.
Which in my opinion are “fake” because they give off the impression that it’s not an actual person behind the screen. But hey, this is the internet, how do you really know for sure that the person behind the screen is really who they say they are?
Believe what you want to believe.
You would not believe…
How many bowls of this I ate when I finally got some again. The Breakfast of Champions.

The end of one thing and the start of another.
It just hit me as I looked at the news that by the end of this week, the Harry Potter series will be over at the conclusion of “the Deathly Hallows Part 2”. I know I’m not the biggest Harry Potter fan in the world, hell I haven’t even finished reading all the books but I still love what I’ve read, watched and experienced over the last ten years. Having it come to a close finally though…. it feels sad.

I can’t possibly imagine what the actors and actresses in the movies must have felt at the London premiere or let alone what JK Rowling must have felt.
I guess when we each watch the last movie, that day will mark the end of an era and the start of something new.
A side dish for me but the bane of my friend’s existence.
