I never knew Chachi owned her own Sandwich Bar!
But anyways it was great sandwich for lunch that day.

What I think is one of many reasons why people are afraid of rejection is due to how they’ve placed whatever they are pursuing on a pedestal above themselves which leads them to THINK that everything will end if they are unable to obtain it.
This could be absolutely anything in the world; that job, that promotion, that scholarship, that girl, that guy, that house etc. But here’s the thing, if you’re not going to die and the world is not going to explode, then is it something to be afraid of? No.
Also, if that is the case, is that thing that you are after, the only one in this world? Most of the time it’s not.
There is another job that you can find which you will enjoy. There is another scholarship out there. There is another guy/girl out there since the last I checked, there’s more than just two people on this planet. So really rejection isn’t something you should be afraid of but rather something that you should get over with as it allows you to move on to other things more worth your time.

What allowed me to successfully enroll into the class that I had Anti-requisites for was in part due to my patience but not without the help of a stranger. After about an hour and a half being on hold and being swapped back and forth between parts of the University I finally got a hold of someone who had the power to do something.
It was a young woman on the other line and her cheerful voice definitely eased away my frustration of registration. We spoke about what could be done and within 10 mins, I was able to register my last class as if the Anti-requisites never existed but I guess that’s what she did, she was able to make them “not exist” officially.
I was beaming with excitement, happiness and gratitude towards her. She didn’t have to do this, she could have forced me to retake one of the Anti-requisites instead or she could have denied any help at all, but she didn’t and nor was she difficult to sway.
She wanted to help, me, a complete stranger, one that she only knows a voice to just like me to her and I am extremely grateful for her being there today.
I am extremely grateful to the stranger who I’ve never met nor seen except for hearing what her voice sounds like and what her name is.
Cause you and your pretty eyes, keep me alive….
For a second there I actually thought this was Emma Watson xD

Finished watching “Kaichou Wa Maid Sama” (会長はメイド様!) last night and it was definitely worth it as it is one of the most entertaining and enjoyable anime that I’ve watched.
If you’re going to Watch it though and don’t want spoilers then please just SKIP THIS. Otherwise proceed….
I think about you everyday.

phjohnny: haha guess I’m not the only one to stumble upon it =)
namosays: yeah I remember watching that when I was little, I didn’t really understand it so I always wondered… why does the girl and guy look a like? Oh right cause it’s the same person haha.
Everyone’s got their own sense of style or rather a sense of style that they are attracted to in the opposite sex. This is what helps catch our eyes and what makes or breaks that attraction.
When you look back at the people you liked, remember their combinations of clothing and not their faces. Yes it is true that it was their face that caught your attention at first but it’s their style that kept your eyes glued.
Their style is a reminder of who you want and of who you had.

These are the first pair of Converse All Stars that I own. It is my first pair because I was never into the style of Converse shoes as their High Tops were just weird, I didn’t like the way they looked and naturally because of this I stayed away from them. All until just over the summer, a friend and I were up in West Ed and we came across this style of converse shoes.
I instantly loved them and was impressed at first sight.
The only reason that I didn’t like the earlier versions was due to the way they looked. They didn’t match my style, my look, so I never got into them until I finally found one that did.
It’s funny that this also applies to the type of girl I’m interested in. Let’s get the stereotypes out there though; some Asian girls have the look where they’ve got the blonde highlights and are decked out in a lot of makeup + Rock and Republic Jeans + all the other brands.
There’s nothing wrong with that.
I know some guys will like it, just like how some guys will like the original Converse shoes; but in my preference, I’m not interested in either of them because it doesn’t match who I am.
However, then comes along a girl who’s style matches mine, I’m impressed and I instantly love it, so just because there are a lot of Asian Girls or Converse shoes that didn’t interest me at first sight doesn’t mean that there won’t be one that will.
Yes I am Shallow as I do base my initial interest on how they look.
But realize this, Don’t You As Well?
Waking up from a good night’s sleep is definitely energizing but what makes it more so is when you wake up at the climax of a dream that you don’t want to leave.
No it was not a sexual dream, I know it’s unfortunate but there are other things out there that are worthy of attention.
So this dream consisted of me being a part of “Serenity“‘s Crew (Serenity is the name of the Firefly class starship from Joss Whedon’s Firefly). Long story short, I was with Mal, Zoe and some nameless guide as we were checking out the diagram of a settlement near a stash of gold which we wanted. As we checked out the house amongst the black out (which allowed us to break in easier), we headed into the washroom and as our flashlights shined onto the shower curtains a shadow jumped out towards us.
It carried a kid’s voice screaming “AHHHHHHHH!!!” and naturally all of us went “AHHHHHH!!!!” from being startled.
Mal opens up the shower curtains to see a young boy with blonde hair about 5 years old and a girl with short blonde hair wearing a knit sweater that was around my age. We figured they were siblings and children of the master of the house.
At this point of the dream I got the info in my head that apparently their dad died in the blackout and so we weren’t going to leave the children there and instead we decided to take them with us so we could drop them off somewhere later on.
The little blonde kid wound up going with me and so I just fireman carried him.
“I need to get something from my dad’s study!” The girl demands.
And I forget how but I wound up escorting her up the stairs as a result. Though when we reached the top of the flight of beige she directed me into a nursery room. Here were two of her younger siblings and I of course had to carry them to safety. Interestingly enough, One was my nephew, how cute and chubby he was as I received a sense of familiarity in this environment. The next baby, strangely enough was my nephew again but it was when he was even younger, still wearing his white onesie with a sky-blue toque on his head.
With the babies in tow, I walked down the stairs to our meeting area as the girl went to grab something from the study. Right then, the blonde haired boy on my shoulder disappears and instead I am now carrying three babies instead of two; the third baby turned out to have the face of one of my cousins.
Oh man was it fucked up cause his face was normal but his body was insanely small like a newborn baby wrapped up in a blanket. What was a bit more unnerving was that he smiled at me like there was nothing wrong. Then instantly in a flash, the babies disappeared and I was bathed in flashing red lights whilst standing in a metal encased hallway.
The airlock door behind me was stationed with Mal, Zoe and the Nameless Guide. Gunshots were heard and the blonde haired girl screamed for help.
Where she was we did not know and so they contemplated on what to do. Should we leave her? Or Should we save her?
I jumped out and said “I’ll bring her back”.
They (either Mal or Zoe) hand me a pistol as I rush down the metal hallway, sirens blaring, red lights flashing. My view was painted in bursts of red.
I got to a doorway and realized two Bandits were on the other side. I became stealthy, slowing my breathing and sneaking to the wall. They were trying to get into a door on the left side but it was closed, they were trying to kick it down and every time they did I’d hear the girl scream in fear. I ready my gun and turned around the corner, pointed it at the head of the guy closest to me and pulled the trigger.
Headshot. Instant Death.
The other bandit begins shooting at me as he runs for cover behind and adjacent doorway. He shoots at me non stop as I hide behind the edge of the doorway, I stick my right arm out, grasping the pistol and blindly shot at him. We continued this little dance for a few mins, I realized, I’ll run out of bullets before I can get him and the only way I can get him is if I wait in the open at the risk of being shot.
I stand in the open aiming my gun. Who will be faster at pulling the trigger? Who will die? Me? Or Him?
He jumps out of cover and our guns fire.
He is now laying on the floor, lifeless. I take a deep breath as I run to the door where the girl is. I reach for the handle still bathed in flashing red.
And My Dream Ends.
