Gratitude # 9: Beautiful.
I am very grateful that I made the decision to stay sober last night when Armin Van Buuren came to play his music. Playing “Not giving up on love” and “Sanctuary” in one night? Beautiful.

Tonight is the midnight premiere of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HOLLOWS Pt.1 but unfortunately I can’t go watch it because I wasn’t able to get tickets to the theatre =(
So as to make up for it, I’ll be doing:
A LOT of Harry Potter Quizzes on facebook.

Doing a Harry Potter movie marathon.

and maybe breaking open the books….. if there’s still time later on.
Harry Potter MADNESS?
I think it’s a good start.
Remember how our moms always told us to do that when we were little?
Then once we hear that we’d always get annoyed because it was like a chore, I mean all we’re doing is basically picking up dirty clothes off the floor, cleaning up the mess of papers on our desk and wiping the dust off of the shelves….all that boring stuff. And once we’re done, before we knew it, it just goes back to how it was in the beginning and the endless siren of “Clean your Room!” starts playing once again.
But then I recently came up with a reason to always keep your room nice and tidy. Your room is the one place in your house that you spend the most time in, you spend maybe 8 hours there every night or perhaps 12+hours in there during the weekends to sleep. But the fact is, there’s no other place in the house where you spend hours on end in.
Now think, if you’re going to spend that much time in one room every day, wouldn’t it be more enjoyable if the room was actually clean and inviting?
Of course, if you enjoy the smell of stinky old clothes and sleeping in a dump, that’s fine as well.
Whatever floats your boat ;)
