“I Rove Rice!!“… Incase you didn’t know.

Color Blind.

So I was playing a video game and I was given two choices of presents to choose from.

Alright fair enough, a green present and a red present; lets get to choosing…

Sorry, where in the world did this Yellow Box come from?

And no, my TV has no problems showing the color Yellow as seen on the clown’s pants.

Platinum.

I remember playing “The Sims” when it first came out and the goal I made for myself was to keep my Sim as happy as can be. Green was the optimal color but Platinum was most desirable because if Green meant feeling “Content/Happy” then Platinum meant feeling “Fucking Amazing”.

How you get to Platinum was to meet your Sim’s needs but the easiest way was to achieve a goal or aspiration that they had.

If I was a Sim, then I’ve obviously hit Platinum (for now) because of an unexpected interaction; a small one but full of meaning nonetheless. The kind that gives you energy when you’re tired, the kind that clears your mind and lets you realize that you may not have everything you want at the moment but it doesn’t matter so long as you can enjoy this moment right here.

And when it finally passes, when I’ve finally dropped back to Green;

I’ll find a new way to get back to platinum.

Little Things.

Looking at this photo, which one do you notice first?

When I first got them, the laces were like the ones on the left until I tied them differently to end up like the ones on the right.

In the beginning they just looked boring, I mean there’s already enough dark grey all over the shoes, why add more to it?

As such, I re-laced them to make them stand out better.

So between what is stock and what is customized OR between what is generic and what is different; the thing that was customized will always stand out more, even if it’s just a tiny detail that sets it apart.

Because the little things really do make a difference.

Over the Water and into the Green.

As of yesterday, it was my second time at a golf course but my first time at one that was this prestigious if not expensive; luckily I didn’t pay for it, the company did =D

We were given our own carts, bottles of water, food vouchers (for ANYTHING) and drink vouchers (FOR ANYTHING). Where some people took an advantage to take hold of as much alcohol as they could, I simply just passed, I’m still avoiding alcohol.

Finally as everyone showed up, it was time to tee off and play golf (to the best of our abilities at least).

“Naturally everything we do requires practice in order to gain a better proficiency at it”

So naturally, I was in need of practice for golf; but a beautiful thing about golf is that even if you’re terrible at it, you can still pull off amazing shots.

I was able to get my golf ball across the water and onto the island where the green was.

Point taken ;)

Unfortunately of how close this place was to our city, the weather can be quite unpredictable. The winds picked up and I got to see what a Weather “Front” was finally, well “finally” makes it sound like a long time, but really I’ve never heard of such thing till that very day. This is what it looks like.

The Front of the “Front”:

and what was behind it:

Basically its just when you can clearly see a line in the sky between the good weather clouds and the bad weather clouds.

Golfing was now cancelled as there was an actual thunder storm approaching. What was funny though was that as we drove on the cart trail, I just saw everyone hauling ass back to the club house. This was as good of a shot I could take with my phone camera but what’d you expect? We were hauling ass too!

Drenched and wind beaten we got back inside just in time. No one was really upset though as we didn’t pay for the golf trip but were still treated to the club’s fine hospitality. We got to eat the dinner that was originally planned for 6pm but it was 4pm.

Yet I only wanted to remember the dessert table because I mean the main course…. that’s Boring isn’t it? =P

Though not everything went as scheduled but then again, rarely does anything go as scheduled.

We don’t live in a perfect world but if there were times that imperfections were a godsend, this would make the list.

I was happy at how this trip started and how it ended.

Response: Renewing?…No..More like Refreshing =)
