Okay in case you didn’t know who I was referring to in my photo before, this is the girl. Chachi.

Why Tumblr and Not Facebook?

So I found it strange while on my break at work that I’m not allowed to check out my blog on Tumblr but yet i’m allowed to check my facebook.
What blasphemy is this? I thought.
But then again there are some reasons that I believe could justify this act.
First of all, Facebook is a social networking site that connects you with other people and as such can facilitate some communication between peoples if needed. Whether it be through wall posts or messages, you can get in touch with the other person quite quick as a lot of us do check our facebook quite often.
Second, because Tumblr is so addictive and more fun than facebook, being worried about your employee’s productivity would be enough to put a block on the site since you would be able to spend countless hours perusing your dashboard.
Well I’m not too worried since I can always check Tumblr at home or outside of work, it’s just that I thought Facebook would have a higher chance of being blocked. But like the reasons above, Tumblr is more fun and fun can take away productivity at work.
Gratitude # 16: Alcohol Not Required
I’m very grateful that if/when I do go out to the bars or the clubs with my friends, I don’t need to drink in order to have a great time. I don’t need to spend my money on alcohol just to enjoy myself with everyone else. I’m able to have fun everyday without drinking already so what’s the point of boozing it up?
Granted, If I want to drink I’ll drink. But I’m grateful that I’m able to have fun regardless if alcohol is involved.

Absolutely, Just go for it and have fun with it ;)
Panini
So I’ve never had a Panini until yesterday… but I have had Sandwiches before; what’s the difference though?
Well Paninies are a tad more expensive but they taste amazing.
Yesterday on Easter Sunday my girlfriend showed me this cafe where we both got to eat some of these delicious little sandwiches.

Thanks Again Sweetie =)
Learning Katakana the “fun” way.

Truth be told I was actually excited when our teacher told us about this =P
Day 28: Am I missing something…?
There is one thing I miss and that was the moment we shared.
The moment where we got along effortlessly, everything was fun, there was flirting, there were jokes and laughter.
It was just the moment where everything was perfect.
Your smile was uplifting and I thought it would last forever.
Then came the pit fall.
And that moment ended.
But you know what?
I can live with missing that moment.

Looks can be deceiving.
Last Thursday I attended a dance workshop taught by Link from Elite Force. Now for awhile the whole dance scene was in the back of my mind ever since I first watched Step Up but I never really got into it as it just felt like it would be easily attainable. Watching the videos of different dancers, popping & locking, breaking, free styling; it all just looked so effortless and easy.
But Oh how wrong I was.
The moment Link got us into some warm up routines, I was all over the place. I seriously felt nervous because I was alongside other people who have had dance experience and I am here screwing up horribly. But then the nervous feeling just melted away because I accepted the truth that yes I have no dance experience and if I am to know what not to do then I have to first make mistakes.
Right then I no longer felt nervous but instead I began to try harder and actually wound up enjoying the whole session a lot more than I initially thought.
Experiencing how challenging break dancing really is, it made me respect dancers in a whole new light because having the level of muscle control and attention to the count of the beat really is hard, not impossible though, just hard.
Being able to pull off sick moves that look effortless to spectators only goes to show their achievement in mastering how to move their bodies to the music.
With practice and passion, I’ll learn to improve myself now that I know that just because something looks easy, doesn’t mean that it always is.
Also, a big Thank You to Chiu Chiu Train as she offered me this once in a lifetime opportunity =)
Off to the Boringist shit hole there is…. Edmonton.
Naw I’m just joking (since I’ll only be visiting) and besides nowhere is ever absolutely boring. A place is only boring when you compare it to what we are used to, if it does not possess what we’re used to, then we automatically assume that it is boring or that it will be boring.
That’s just being a bit close minded, expand the mind and look around. There may not be the same hangouts that you’re used to but there will be other places that make up for it, you just have to find it.
Be adventurous and look for excitement and fun, they won’t find you, you have to find them.
It’s boredom that you don’t need to look for because it will always try to find you, like a stalker.
Find what’s fun for you then boredom can’t find you ;)
Pt3. The World Is Your Playground.
Heading home early I was excited to just wind down from an eventful birth-day. I shared a bit of what happened to the family before we moved onto…
