We’re different but that’s why we’re the same.

We are all different in our own way. We may be of the same race, same culture and same nationality but how we perceive our world and how we shape our reality is different. We may hold the same values but not share the same experiences, we are different but yet we are the same with our “differences”.

As such, there are two ways to view this, two different ways to perceive the world’s state of equality (among many). The world can be seen as being unequal because we all have our perceptions of reality that are “different” from everyone else. However, the world can also be seen as being equal through how not one person views the world or reality the same way as the next.

Therefore, the world is not as clean cut nor Black and White as we’d like to think but rather it is a shade of grey where what we perceive is the only way to decide if we fall into one side or the other or if we stay right on the fence.
